The lighting is a little low for corals. I'd recommend as least one more (preferably two) bulbs.
The hydrometer will be OK for a little while, but you will eventually want a refractometer. What other filtration are you planning (filter sock, carbon, phosphate media, protein skimmer)? I doubt you could get by with just live rock unless you do lots of large water changes. |

Therefore Ill be doing some frequent water changes instead of buying an expensive skimmer to remove excess nutrients. |
