Can a calcium reactor be put inside a sump?

Can a calcium reactor be put inside a sump? I know that you cannot put the CO2 tank inside. I don't have much space under my tank to put the whole calcium reactor setup so I thought that I may be able to create some space by possibly putting the reactor inside the sump and put the CO2 tank outside the sump.

I am thinking of getting this Calcium reactor:
It is small enough to be put in the sump.
