New LR Question

Can I place new live rock in a brand new tank with all the right water parameters but not cycled yet?

does this tank have any livestock or coral in it?

nope...brand new with RODI mixed saltwater. SG 1.026

So why would you think its a bad idea to add new LR? It will most likely cycle but if there are not critters in there.....
