Scratch Removal?

How can I remove the scratches on the inside of my acrylic tank. THe tank is dry right now so I want to take advantage of this time. I know they sell kits for this but i dont see myself paying $25 for sand paper and diaper cloth.

It depends how deep they are, if they are light scratches then you just need really fine sand paper. But sandpaper is the only way I know of getting scratches out.
