Best Fish For Eating Macro algae
I have some macro algae growing in my display. Im pretty sure it's a type of caulerpa. I was wondering which fish would be more likely to pick at it? I have a 75G I'm looking at a Kole tang, Yellow tang, or Foxface. Advice on which fish would really be appreciated!! Thanks!!!

I had a one-spot foxface that did a fantastic job of grazing away any sign of algae. He ate hair, caulerpa, and valonia indiscriminately. But 9 months later he got a taste for SPS corals and starting eating polyps with a passion and I had to find him a new home.

I wouldn't want that to happen. I have heard other people mention that foxfaces aren't always reef safe. Looks like I'll probably be getting a tang.

I have a foxface lo that has eaten all of my bryposis, viny caulpera, and feather caulpera. It also eats nori and frozen mysis. Great little bugger, gotta give him up soon though - my tanks a little too small for him.
