MH burn out

Just wondering if anyone has had this happen to them.
I recently got some new MH bulbs. They are about 1.5 months old. about 2 weeks ago one just stoped working. I swithed balasts and the other light works so I know its not the balast. I have looked at the bulb and nothing seems wrong with it. The bulb still looks new.
Do they sometimes just burn out?

check the connection in the end of bulb and the socket.. sometimes you can get buildup and it can affect connection
