What do you plan on keeping in the tank? The lighting is 2 PC lamps. The size probably depends on the size of the tank. What size are you thinking of?

thank you , the canopy lighting consists of 2 compact fluorescent lamps .1daylight and 1 blue compact but it also has 2 moon glow led lamps that stay on constantly. Do i run the daylight at day the blue at night?

Yes - I've got a BioCube.

You'll need a heater. Definitely.

You probably WANT to add a second powerhead for flow through the tank. The pump itself adds very little flow. I would not run mine without one.

The lights are 2 36 watt power compacts. One Actinic and one daylight (I think 10k).

Run both lights during the day. I have my atinic come on 15 minutes before the daylight and go off 15 minutes after. But for the main part of the day you'll want to run both.
