Weird issue with my Six Line Wrasse

As usual I went to look at my tank with a flashlight after dark and I saw something I've never seen before. My six line wrasse and my manderin sleep next to each other behind the same rock...my manderin was fine but my six line wrasse was incased in a clear "bubble." There was a hole in the back where his tail was sticking out but the front part of his body was inside what looked like a clear plastic cocoon. I know it wasn't a jellyfish...but it looked like it was made out of the same material that jellyfish are. I tapped the tank and he swam off and today he doesn't seem effected at all.
Has anyone seen something like this before? Am I worried over nothing or is there something weird in my tank?

I know fish slime coat them selfs at night to protect them but I've never heard of a bubble. I'd like to see the video

Maybe his slime coating just expanded, becasue it wasn't connected to him at all. It surrounded him. But I guess it's nothing to worry about.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but lots of wrasses make a substance like spider web that they can surround themselves in--you will see it at on a rock they might be in or something. I saw it with my carpenter's wrasse (before my three-stripe killed him!)

Many wrasses cover themselves in a slime coating that hides them from predators. I personally have never seen my 6 do it, so it would be cool to see.
