diy skimmer box?

hey guys, i'm in the middle of trying to hide as much of my pro. skimmer as possible (CL SS65)i got rid of my diffuser box thanks to masterswimmer (much praises) and now i'm looking to make my own skimmer/overflow to hide my pro. skimmer pump, so if i get it made do you guys think i would be ok to super glue it to the tank underwater using gel? any advise would help
