Problem with my Zoo frag HELP !
Please look at the attached picture(so for the bad quality) and tell me what the white stuff around the polyps are ? is it dead or what

HTH=Hope this helped.
Could be a sponge that is dead/dying. I have had sponges grow like that in between polyps. Its kinda hard without a clearer picture though. Are the polyps opening at all?

might be a bacterial infection. I would swish it arounfd in a container of disposable tank water(water removed from the tank that will be dumped out afterwards). do a coral dip then swish it again in some more disposable water. Then place in a QT.

Like said above it could a sponge as I do have the same on one of my little LR piece.

Or it could be a lot of frag glue, Are the polyps trying to open?

This white stuff came up in less than 24 hours and no none of the polyps are opening up
