Ro...di?

I'm looking into purchasing a RO system with drinking water add on. Would you recommend spectrapure? What other brands would you recommend? Is DI really necessary. If I decide not to get the DI, what type of long term problems would I run into with my reef?

^^^^^ Thats what I have, and love it! Yes get the di, it will make sure everything is out of your water. Possible outcomes of not having it? Algae, nitrate, phospate probs.

If you are looking at Spectrapure do the MaxCap. That will be the next one I buy. www.reefexotics.com has it the cheapest, i think.

Spectrapure all the way. I have the MAXCAP. RO only lets many weakly ionized impurities through like silicates. Here is a thread we just had going on the MAXCAP.
