I know what you mean-- I hate that pee yellow color lower temp lights create. I have 10K 150 hqi's on my 90. They are super bright white and my SPS are growing like crazy-- a couple have tripled their size in as little as 3 months, but I'm actually considering swapping out the 10k's for 14's because I want a little more blue to bring out the colors more during the day. The strange thing is how hard it is has been to find straight forward info about people's experiences with different K ratings with types of corals (effects on color and growth). Everything I find is 95% electrical-engineer-spectral-analysis-speak. Anyone know a layman's resource for straight forward info/pictures on this topic?

14.5k Giesemann is very white. I'm running the 400w SE version of these and I love them.

Does anyone have pics or would they not do justice due to the camera settings?

XM 250 DE are very white especially with some actinic supplementation. The Phoenix 14Ks are a bit on the blue side but very pleasant.
