Black Patches on Clown
Hi all!
Just got home from work and my two clown fish have got even larger black patches than yesterday. I don't think it's black spot - patches are too big. Any ideas what it could be? They're both feeding great and swimming freely - looking pretty good actually. |

Are they hosting zoanthids, torch corals, or anything of the like? Usually if they do they will get these marks. They don't seem to bother the fish, but they can get lots of them.

They aren't actually hosting anything at the moment. Only got two ***** corals, encrusted polyp rock and a toadstool leather in the tank. Might just have brushed along it and got a bit of a reaction. Nothing to worry about though?

If they are burns from the polyps then it isn't an issue.
