Pumps
Will a pump loss it's efficiency over time say a year or so, and if so will I need a new impellar or a whole new pump?My skimmer just does not work like it did when it was new .

did you disassemble the pump and soaked the parts in a water/vinegar solution?
pump lose efficiency due to calcium deposits and organics that accumulate on the impeller, etc.

I did that .I clean and soak the pump once a month.

What brand pump are you using? Quality makes a big difference too!

Try changing the impeller.

It is the pump that came on the 125 CSS, and they do not offer a impellar that I can find U have to buy the whole pump.
