Question Live Rock Nutrition

I am preparing to start about 100 pounds of live rock in a new reef. I've read that the curing process as indicated by NH3 reduction could take 3 to 8 weeks.
My question is: do the live inhabitants require nourishment during this period?

Whatever live inhabitants exist on the rock live off the consumption of the dying material in there.

You don't want to add anything. Just leave it be.
