celerpa in refugium?
Just wondering if it's ok to put celerpa in my refusuim?Got some today at the LFS just wanted to double check?

A lot of people do. If it gets into your display it will overtake it unless you have a grazer like a tang that will keep it under control. It can also go sexual unless you keep it lit 24/7 and wreak havoc. I like cheato because it has none of these concerns.

thanks....So i should keep it lighted?The LFS said just keep it cut back...Ill Replace it with cheato When the LFS gets some...

good luck finding cheato in a LFS. I've never seen it in mine. Check out the Macroalgae forum here, someone is always giving it away.

Post on your local reef forum. I bet you could get some chaeto for free from a fellow reefer in your area.
