Mixed Reef switch to FOWLR questions
Alright so I have had my first salt tank for about 3-4 months now and have come to the reality that I simply dont have the time or money that it takes to have a sucessful reef tank. Also, I really enjoy triggerfish and a few other non reef safe fish more than I enjoy corals. So heres what I have so far in my tank.
Fish -pair of black saddleback clowns (planning on moving them to a nano) -Royal Gramma -Lawnmower Goby Corals All I have is several zoos, a few mix and match mushroom rocks, and some Xenia. All of them are doing great. So, the question is if I were to get a few smaller triggerfish would they hurt my other fish or eat the corals I have atm? Can I mix and match reef compatible fish and non reef compatible fish as long as theres not a reef involved? Can semi aggressive and aggressive fish coexist? Can a 20 gallon nano tank support 2 clowns and possibly the goby(Im assuming the goby will not like being in the FOWLER) In a FOWLER tank with TONS of hiding space, can I have more fish than in a mixed reef tank? I was hoping for the following. 2 triggerfish, my royal grandma(who is a royal bi*ch to the other fish im my tank atm), and possibly a lionfish or puffer. Is there room for more than this in my 75g?

There is definitely a chance of almost any trigger at least stressing to death if not attacking small fish.
I'm guessing two triggers in a 75g is too much. A 20g well maintained can support two clowns and a goby. - imo Do some 'research' on triggers and you will easily find all your answers

Get a Sargassum, Blue Jaw or Crosshatch trigger, they are very docile.

Alright so triggers arent for me, although there awesome fish I just dont have the space. Any other thoughts on the 2 clowns and goby in my 20g nano with a big bubble tip anenome?
So after doing some looking around at possible fish combinations heres a few ideas. I would really like to have a puffer or lionfish. Im leaning towards lionfish though. Considering a Fuzzy dwarf lion. Any imput on this fish. Also, I am interested in a few dwarf angels. I read that the two dwarf angels I liked(flame and coral beauty) get to about 4-5" in captivity. Will the dwarf lion eat them? I know that my LFS has a lion thats only like 2 inches right now. Also curious about a Cole's Yellow eye tang. Would this list be ok in my 75g tank? -Fuzzy Dwarf lion -Coral Beauty -Flame Angel -Yellow Eye Tang -Royal Gramma (I already have, will he get eaten?) Is there such thing as a dwarf puffer? Someone had said that lions and puffers dont get along. But I have seen several tanks with both. Any imput on this?
