Drilling a tank in Ga

Happy Easter RC! All I hear is your going to want to have a sump to get the best results out of your tank (55 gallon), Now here is my question is there anyone in Ga that would be willing to help me drill my tank and help me with a sump. Of course id be willing to pay. Thank you.

Honestly...I drilled my tank with a regular power drill and diamond drill bits i got at Ebay...out of four holes (2-2 1/2 , 2- 3/4 ) , I only oystered my first hole...go slow!!!!!!!!! and use plenty of water to cool the bit and you will have no problems

p.s. make sure your tank isn't tempered!

call glass Co. in your area you should be able to find one that will drill for about 10-15 dollars a hole. Im in Ga but close to TN.

I use a HOB overflow on my 90G. Works just as well and doesn't risk breaking your tank.

You do want to drill your tank... don't believe these HOB overflow people. I have one and I'm mad as hell at it right now. It's noisy, unless I restrict the drain, and when I restrict the drain, it overflows. Grrrr.
