Question Testing Kits

What test kits have you found to be of good quality, or have had good success with?

Elos> Lamotte> Salifert> most others.

I hear Hach kits are nice if you've got the funds. The Merck (D-D) phosphate kit is supposedly the most accurate for phosphates but again, you will have to pay for the accuracy.

Thanks Old Salty & Rigle for information, quick question do you know if Salifert has a kit with multiple tests, or do you have to purchase each separately. Do you know where I can order online?

I think they're sold individually actually. I couldn't find a Master Kit or anything like that.

Salifert only sells individual kits. Some retailers do create bundles.

Salifert Prices

The problem these days with Salifert is finding them in stock.

What ever you decide to go with...once your tank is established you really only need to monitor PH, Cal, Nitrate, and maybe phos. Just go with the single kits more cost effective.
