Par Values of Halides
I'm sure it's an old question but i can't seem to find a thread. Has anyone tested Par specifics of any 250w MH bulbs? Time for a change.
I'm new to Halides....roughly what % does PAR decrease over a year period? is this the reason to change? or is it due to spectral changes? I'm testing some 9mo old phoenix and like the color. but significanly dimmer than what i expcetd. I'm assuming due to the age of the bulbs? compared to new odyeesa 10k thanks for the input.

thats the par? excellent! thanks....
I'm not sur how relevant all that is since it's all SE bulbs. I'm runnin DE. Good generalization on ballast/bulb manufactureres tho. just not sure how much of tha info can carry over to DE....excellent pic comparisons...
