Solaris ... Whooo Hooooo
I just got a PFO Solaris LED 14” 20K fixture for my birthday……whooooo hoooooooo!
Now…. What to do with it? I have a 12 gallon nanocube with a 70W MH now thats FULL of zoanthids. I will put it over that for now and may just keep it there. I also have a unused 30 gallon Oceanic cube, measures 18x20x21H. I had planned to use a 150 or 250 MH light over it sometime in the future. My question: Do you think the 14” Solaris would be a good choice for the 30g Oceanic cube? It is supposed to equal a 250 MH, but I am not so sure of that. I am concerned that being 21” deep might be pushing it for the LEDs. I will be keeping Softies and some LPS in the 30g. What do you think? Thanks reefers, Mark |
