Media bag

I think I read somewhere you can use a nylon to put your carbon in.Anyone do this? Will the nylon in the egg work?Any particular color?

Nylon will work if it is fine enough (like as long as the holes arent too big to let the carbon through). No reason not to use it that i know of..

I just bought the media bags made for it from the LFS. They are only a few dollars. Otherwise it should probably be fine.

I use "The Bag" from Seachem. Lasts forever.

Nylons work fine, and when my store bought bags wear out i will usually use the wifes nylons as a stand in. Color of the nylons only matters if you plan on wearing them.

I think Im gonna go for the black sheers! They'll match the carbon the best.
