Super Actinic bulb won't fire up?
I just installed my 6 bulb 54w Tek retrofit T5s w/ icecap reflectors. I ordered 9 different bulbs to play w/ different combinations and all of the bulbs work fine except for the Super Actinic. I've tried it on different ballasts and with different bulbs on the other end of the ballast and nothing works. When I plug it in, the other bulb flashes on for a fraction of a second, and the Super Actinic bulb also flashes but only at one end of the bulb and it never fires up all the way. Is this more common with the Super Actinics, or is there some trick to getting it to fire up all the way?

Bad bulb ... I could be wrong and if I am, it;s a free bump but ... bad bulb. No real trick to T5's lighting, they kinda either do or they dont if the bulb is bad and with all other bulbs giving no problems, a bad bulb is a safe bet.

Maybe you just wired that ballast wrong? 2 bulbs per ballast right? If not, its is just a bad bulb and they should replace it free.
