Hitchiker ID plz! Pics included.
This thing was blowing around my tank. Dont know where it came from but I just stuck it in the sand. Pretty cool, some sort of softie I assume. Any idea what exactly it is or how to take care of it?

looks like a Scleronepthea or Siphonogorgia. Cool corals but rarely survive long, especially in young tanks. It's probably non-photosynthetic so just keep it in strong current. Maybe you'll get lucky.

are the arms soft, do they wave in the current? if not i would go with Siphonogorgia as well. may want to feed it some cyclope-eez every few days. like seapug sad most gorgonians are non-photosynthetic and require feedings.
