Please help! glasscages.com couldn't help me!
I just contacted glasscages about getting a acrylic cube or a rimless glass tank and they said they couldn't help me. Is there another site that has almost the same pricing as glasscages? Please help, or any good experinces with another site? Thanks

I hate to break it to you, but nobody comes close to classcages pricing. If they have what your looking for (which they did for me) their great!!! If not, your gonna have to fork out some scratch somewhere. Goodluck!!!!

Tank I want is 20x20x16 rimless with a overlfow center in the background. Ron, Glasscages stated they just flat out couldn't help me. I asked for both quotes on a acrylic and glass tank. If anyone can recommend a site I's apreciate it. Thanks |

Did you email or call glasscages? I have emailed them and every time they say they can't help me, but when I finally called the woman put my order in right away. It was pretty weird.

Did they say why they wouldn't do it? It doesn't sound like an unreasonable request.
I used them (GC) for my sump and top-off reservoir. They were fine for that, but not so sure I'd want them making my display. The finish was not great on the tanks. jds |

Hmmm... Thats weird! Yeah, I emailed them requesting both quotes on a acylic and rimless tank with shipping. Here's what I got. With my request on the bottom.
Their reply.... Sorry can't help with this request. To whom it may concern; I just got a recommendation to use you but others on the forum said stay away? Obviously, I'm going off and hoping our transaction goes through without any problems. Plus, its not really a big order anyways. Here are my options: 1. 20x20x16 acrylic cube w/ top rear black acrylic overflow w/ a one inch bulk head Plus cost of shipping to CA 95401 2. 20x20x16 Rimless glass tank center acrylic overflow w/ a one inch bulk head Plus cost of shipping to CA 95401 I maybe intersted in a sump tank but I really doubt that you can combine shipping to save? Please get back ASAP |

I have a 20/20/12 rimless starfire/polished edges with overflow (which is not inuse anymore). Was made by miracles in glass, i highly recommend them. Price will vary depending on options but overall they were mid-level price wise but were able to meet all the option i wanted (and i was a pita over a teeny nano

Like I said earlier, look at www.myreefcreations.com. They do a 20inch acrylic cube for $265, with the overflow, bulkheads, and black background included. IIRC, GC wanted more for an equivalent tank I wanted when you add in the overflow, bulkheads, ect.
Also, they do custom tanks and I'd imagine they wouldn't charge anymore for less acrylic used... |

I have a 29gal acrylic tank from glasscages, brand new, and it sucks.. The sheeting is much too thin. Major bulging on front and rear panels within several days of setup. When I move I'm switching to a different tank.
