cleaning plumbing w/ bleach..??

I recently cleaned my lifereef u-tubes with bleach and it worked great... can I use bleach on my vinyl plumbing lines..?? there are really gunked up and I feel like I should clean them too... any suggestions..?? Thanks again everyone...

Yes you can as long as you let it dry 24 hrs or so, i personally would use a vinager/water solution let it set in it 24 hrs and than scrub it (works great on salt creep.)

I usually just run a chunk of old towel tied to a long string through mine. 99% of the crud comes out just fine. The only hard spots are the places that the hose was exposed to light.

I agree with the vinegar/water solution. I use it to clean my rabbits' cages and it works great.
