kalk/ calcium reactor
I would like to know for a 90gl mixed reef what would you use? A kalk reactor or calcium reactor. thanks

I would use both I have a 75 with a 15 gal. refuge and a 100 gal. sump and i use both and everything is great.

Depends how much ALK and CAL do you need? What corals do you keep?

I personally prefer a calcium reactor.

Do you know how much ALK and CAL you loose in a day? Will you be adding more SPS? For the stock you have now you can get away with a Kalk reactor. It is cheaper to buy one over a CAL reactor. If you have the extra money go with a CAL reactor. Otherwise for what you have now a Kalk will do.

Yeah if you do have the extra money you better go after a CA reactor as you will get more on the long run and both ca and alk will be controlled.
