Skimmate to wet??

How do I get my skimmate to dry up a little? I'm not sure what kind of skimmer it is. Does more air make it wetter or dryer?

The collection cup being where the skimmate overflows into the top of the skimmer or the actual cup the waste dumps off to?

My cup is actualy suplied through a hose. I couldn't see where raising it would help much. It would just take a little longer foer the liquid to make it to the cup. My problem is the actual skimmate is comming over the top a little to wet. Instead of being a dry fluffy foam it is moist,so it just runs out the hose as slightly discolored water.

the fact that it would take longer for the liquid to make it to the cup is the very reason you should raise it. Basically it just makes it skim more selectivly.

I'm honestly have no clue what kind of skimmer it is. When I got it I took it apart to clean it and the tube the water jets through said kent. I tryed to do a google search and all I could come up with is the new kents. But the way it works is like alot I've seen the bubbles rise up to a head and settle over top of a circuler shaft into another larger circuler shaft ,and at the bottom of the 2nd shadt is where the skimmate drains out to the collection cup. So all I can see it doing is siiting in the hose that leads to the collection cup until enough liquid is in th hose to force it into the cup. I need it to be dryer before it actualy overflows from the 1st circuler section to the 2nd.
