live sand activator?

does anyone know about "the grunge" from G.A.R.F? Is it beneficial? is it BS? any experience?

any info is appreciated!!

Its not BS. Sometimes, I order a garf grunge pack, or grunge plus, just to re-seed the sand with some more worms and pods. That stuff is packed with critters... Id say a hundred different kinds... pods of all sorts, worms, fans, sponges, snails, slugs... you name it.

I just ran across the GARF website and I was reading about the grunge.
How long have you been using there product?
How do you incorporate it in the tank. Just sprinkle it in?
Should I be hesitant to add this to my tank?
I don't see many entries that are currently dated in there website.
I would appreciate any info. Thanks
