Question How long for fish to come out of hiding?

How long will it take for my first fish Lawnmower Blenny to come out and let me have a look at him. I have seen him about 3 times and that's only for about 2secs and he has been in the tank about 30hrs. I know where he is hiding and you can see him sometimes in there, but he will not come out and feed on the rocks

A month! Well that means he must have been in the LFS for a month. He was swimming about no trouble with all the peeps in the store looking in the tanks and he was fine.It cant be that long,a month!

LMB can be a really shy fish... I've had one for almost a year and it runs and hides whenever you get too close to the tank...

Cheers for the info guys. I just hope he is not to shy, because he is a cool looking fish, and in good condition, and I also need a housemaid for my tank

More than likely coming out a bit when it's dark. A new fish being put into a tank of totally unfamiliar teritory would be kinda like boxing you up in a 5' x 5' crate shipping you via UPS, and they aern't very nice ever seen a motherboard shipped via UPS? Then dropping you in the jungle after 3 days in the crate. Give him some time and leave the lights off a bit more often to help relieve the stress.
