I dont even give my pets tap water. I do work for local water utilitys and asked one of the big wigs if he would drink the tap water , well without a response from him not a yea or nea then then then oh well. I admit some citys have better tap then others but for a healthy happy eco system you want clean pure water.

Intresting. I have well water at home and my ro/di registers 140-150 TDS (inflow) while it measures over 550 TDS in my office that is supplied by municipal water (Using the same ro/di system). What's up with that?

We just had a debate on this topic. I don't know how to link the thread here, but it was posted by Tonymullet on 5-10-07 in this forum and titled "The use of tap water in a FOWLR tank". Maybe someone that knows how could link it here.
