suction sound
there is aloud sound that comes from the exit pipe on my main tank. Is there a way to make it quiter? I have a bulkead in the back top left corner for the exit.

I saw the durso stand pipe but my exit is in the top left corner no the bottom of the tank.

You can still use the durso stand pipe option, here is a picture of the same type of setup I did on my tank.
Works great, just follow the same directions in the website link posted above.

so you are basically putting and end cap above the exit and drilling a hole to release the pressure.

yes, the hole i drilled in the cap wasn't all that big either.
