Your tang is a herbivore, clown an omnivore and firefish a carnivore.

Mysis shrimp, spirulina, brine, plankton. Meats & veggies are all good.

I would try and feed them twice a day. Only as much as they can consume in about 5 minutes. You'll get the hang of it.

Also you can buy some Romaine lettuce, freeze it and then put a little in the tank. Your tang will love it.

Are Tang's really classified as Herbivore's? Mine, in addition to it's daily nori feedings, greedily devours anything I put in the tank.

I think my tang forgot he's a vegetarian. He much prefers the "meat" food the rest of the fish get.

Tang = goat

Yes, I used to have a sailfin that devoured everything. Even beefheart

Ive had them all at one time or another and they all eat brine, mysis, cyclopeze, and prime reef. The tang would also greedily take anything vegetable that I threw in the tank (and the fire fish has tried a few pieces too) Moral of the story...most fish will eat whatever is available if they are used to it. When their favorite runs out, they switch to something else... Think about yourself. Your choices are ice cream and brussel sprouts. You eat ice cream first and ignore brussel sprouts. Ice cream runs out and all you have are brussel sprouts. They start looking pretty gopod after a day or two.
