Father's day Ideas

Greetings Enthusiasts,

I am new to the hobby and have only had my 47 gal tank up for 6 weeks. With Father's Day coming up my loving daughters have asked for a wish list. Short of wishing for a house large enough to support a 800 gallon reef, I could use some ideas.

What would be some good books I could put on the list? I am working on my first tank and at this time is will be mostly soft corals. I need a feeder for the 1 or 2 fish I will have in so that just maybe I can get a vacation in this year. Since my girls will need to come by to check on the critters, is there some good accessory I should get?

Your input I am sure will be benificial for all the other fathers out there that could 'drop some hints'.

Thank you for your input.

Will the Noob

I like Eric Borneman's "Aquarium Corals" book. I've been wanting to get Fenner & Calfo's "Reef Invertebrates".

I use an Eheim digital feeder for going on vacations. I use it when I'll be gone for three days, otherwise I just give a big feeding right before I go.

You're going to want a big magenet cleaner.

"The Concientious Marine Aquarist" by R. Fenner is a must-have for a beginning reefkeeper.

Thank you for the feedback. If I play it right I might get both books. If I read them will I become as smart as all you guys?

Thanks,

Will

You're already smarter than me. I didn't start using Reef Central until I was on my 4th saltwater tank!
