PC Lighting - When to change bulbs?
I have heard that it is wise to change your PC light bulbs every 6 to 8 months. Is this true?
Just curious since my tank is hitting the 8th month mark and it is probably overdue for bulbs. Anyone agree that PC bulbs should be changed that frequently? or are they longer lasting?

When I ran pc bulbs I found that even at 6 months, there is a HUGE intensity difference even at the 6 month mark. So IMO stay close to the 6 month mark.

So I guess I will be buying some new bulbs asap...
I have a 70W MH waiting patiently to go on the tank, but I think I am going to wait till summer is over. Any signs that show when the lighting is going out? Seems like everything is still happy in the tank? I am getting a little green algae on the back wall though.
