As for the Damsels; it all depends on what type of fish you have. Are they Blue/Green Chromis? If so, you got a great reef safe and friendly fish. Or are they Jewel Damsel's? If so, then you got a real threat on your hands.

Not all Damsel's are bad, in fact, some are great community fish; you just got to know what you're buying.

yellow tail - You should be fine. They are small and for the most part "peaceful" aquarium fish. They are beautiful for sure and you "should" be ok.

striped damsel - [3 white stripes on a black body] - Not sure what you are describing; the only Damsel that matches this is the Black-tail Damsel or also known as the "Striped Damselfish". A very hardy fish so much so they can handel a tank cycle! When these fish get larger so does their aggression so make sure any of the other tank mates are bigger then the striped damsel. These fish think they own the tank and are a threat to the rest of your tank mates.

As long as the "striped damsel" is not what I think it is (see this link: http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/profiles/659.htm) you SHOULD be okay. I am concerned about the striped damsel you describe. See this link. Is this the fish?
