Question Is the sedra 9000 noisy ?

Bought a asm g4 with sedra 9000 used..

Got around tonight to putting the sedra 9000 in a 5 gallon bucket with hot water and vinegar to clean it up..

The pump seems noisy, could be from being in the bucket I suppose, but I'm just curious if this is normal for the pump or not...

any info to help me is much appericated..

Mine is noisy. Haven't found anything to quiet it. Guess it depends on how noisy yours is. Mine has a noticeable him to it and vibrates. But it's crammed into a small sump so I don't have much room to experiment.
