Whats your best buy ever!

First time I went to the LFS to get a mushroom I get sold a Yuma for $5

This second time I went to the LFS to get a mushroom I get sold a Candy Cane ( 2 heads ) for $3

I am coming up with all kinds of win just trying to get a stinking mushroom

So whats YOUR all time best buy?

$20 for a lifereef DIY skimmer. Bought it a few years ago and it's still going strong.

Must say, my $7 CC starfish (which I had been trying to pawn off on someone) traded for some type of Leather which is as big as a hand.

Oh and craiglist, $3/lb live rock and a free 55 gallon tank/stand/fish and free 75 gallon tank too.

The $4 bottle of Pinpoint Salinity Calibration Fluid that made my $50 refractometer finally measure correctly.

Worst Deal: A $50 refractometer that doesn't measure correctly.

Marshall Island Live rock. $4 per pound.

Aiptasia. Free with the live rock.

Watching it multiply until it covered every inch of rock. Free.

Copperband butterfly. $60

Watching it do its job. Priceless.

$40 for both a DIY ATO (gravity fed) into a DIY Kalk reactor. Much less work for a much better pH and more stable calcium and alk. The corals are showing the benefits.
