My coral banded wouldnt leave my cleaner shrimp alone. This was in a much smaller tank. My Fires and Skunks never bothered each other though.

I've kept CBB's with Skunk cleaners before. IME I didn't have a problem.

CBB is predatory.

Other shrimp -- like peppermint, cleaners, fire -- usually won't bother conspecifics.

most likely you won't ever see the fire shrimp, as it will always hide

and yes, another vote for the CBS eating/bothering other shrimp

Sorry, but 100% contradictory to my experiences.

well thats the fun of these forums, and that's why they are here, to share EVERYONE'S experiences

generally a large CBS will eventually find a cleaner I think and fight it

I have a 240 tank and have a cb, peps, and a cleaner. No one bothers anyone. The cb stays on one side of the tank for the most part. The cb and cleaner are both quite large. I got them both when they were tiny and put in the tank together. They are about 2 years together now. Tina

I have a large CBS who killed the three peppermints I added a while back, but doesn't even seem to notice the pistol shrimp. I imagine it depends on the type of shrimp you want to keep, your individual CBS, and the size of the tank. If your CBS is generally fairly peaceful and you've got lots of hiding spaces in the tank, it might be worth a try, but do be prepared that you might lose the new shrimp.

I've kept CBS in just about every tank I've ever owned (except this one). Never had them eat any other shrimp (pepps, skunks, fire). JME.

I always kpt them in pairs...maybe that makes a difference? dunno.

And, all that siad, I don't keep them in this tank because I wouldn't want my luck to change in the presence of my prized harlequin shrimp.
