RBTA ???s

i have found a ton of info on these anemones and i feel very good about what i know now
but one thing alot of sites seem to differ about is how much light they need some say mh can be to much and others say you need very strong mhs i have 175 ms and i have room all over my tank high and low
so what would be the best location
my tank a 110 gallon XH 30 inches tall

The individual animals themselves seem to vary in how much light they want. A good 175 W MH setup should be fine for some location in the tank.

they will move around in the tank to where ever they like it the best. you won't be able to just put it in a spot you like and expect it to stay there

One trick that I heard is based on their preference to have their foot in a cave like structure. Pick a place in your tank that has good flow and light that you think will be sufficient. Then cut a piece of pvc (width determined ny anenome foot size) and length of about 2 inches long. Attach the pvc to the spot where you want the anenome and then place the anenome foot into the hole in pvc. Providing everything else is reasonably acceptable - Flow, Light, etc, the anenome will have a grater chance of settling once its foot feels secure. As for exactly where in your tank to put it .. that's very subjective to your tank and its equipment/arrangement. With a 175, I'd say anywhere between midway and up but thats not much help if you're looking for specifics.

yeah i just rearranged my rocks and i have a great spot in the middle i hope that is the best spot with plenty of flow
i have some pvc but its 3/4 inch not sure if thats big enough
i might get some 1 inch just to be safe
the spot in the middle of the tank there is a nice flat rock that is where i will put it i hope it stays there

new question

for some reason my rbta goes under a rock after my lights go out and will go back to the same spot when the lights come back on
is it doing this because of the light time was different than the person that i got it off of
his lights came on early and mine come on later
when its out in the light it looks great i fed it for the first time yesterday it looked very good so i hope its just adjusting to my lighting time
