I used to use instant ocean, and it's good, but recently I've switched to reef crystals for more calcium and I think more mag as well.
Fostersmith is cheapest IMO.

I use Instant Ocean, I have been for years. I have always had good results with theis salt mix, and with my additives being on target.

Yeah everybody on RC uses instant ocean or Reef Crystals, I don't but you will find no matter how many times this poll is taken the majority is the cheapo IO, LOL it's by far the choice of RC'ers LOL

I use 50/50 IO/Oceanic.

Reef Crystals apparently is the most popular though:

I use IO but it is often low in Calcium and Alkalinity. Next time I buy salt I think I'll switch to Tropic Marin. I heard great things about it.

I use to use Instant Ocean too. I started having issues with algea and low calcium. I switched over to Oceanic and am very happy. Calcium levels are high and no signs of algea. I do a 10% water change every 10 days.

My tank has always looked the best with Kent, and the worst with TM and particularily TMpro - tons of brown algae. I recently tired Coralife, when it is used up I'll go back to Kent.
