What type of inexpensive (emphasis on inexpensive) equipment can I use to move large quantities of water in my aquarium?

Trash can with wheels is pretty cheap. Could you provide more details as to, what you are trying to move where?

Chinese food containers. The large soup ones. Not that large, but they are free with purchase!!

How cheap are we talking? You could steal a boat oar and stir your tank with that. Free

Lol, oops, I use Tunze streams and really like them. Everyone I know seems to use the Hydor Koralia and they seem very very good for the price. If you have a limited budget the koralias would be a good option.

Maxi jet Mods are the best for the price IMO. 1200's with the algae free mods should be around $40 each online and push ~ 1600 gph for ~ 20 watts.

You could use air bubbler only on one side of the tank. The bubbles will cause the water to rise only on that side. The other side will sink. A nice circular motion. The air pump you need to pay for but the air is free.

Current Tank Info: I have a 180 gal mostly LPS corals, it contains 1 Val. Tang, 1 yellow striped clown fish, 3 percula clownfish, a blood shrimp, cleaner shrimp and a sand shifting goby, 5 pajama cardinals, 1 green chromis. Also a 75 gal. sump/fug.
