Though the video states that the imploding cavitation bubble reaches the temperature of the sun, I believe the temp is more like 115 degrees F according to other sources.

Nature says 5000K here. I watched the pistol shrimp in my son's nano take out a hermit crab this morning. Very cool stuff...

Searching around the net, this National Geographic article quotes a temperature of 10,000K or 18,000 F in other forms of sonoluminescence. Amazing.
