what to do with chaeto
Ok I have decided to go back to my canister I have a small piece of chaeto that I ad in my sump for 2 weeks What can I do with it now ? Can it go in the canister ??? I dont think so Or do I just throw it in my tank? or throw it out?

Don't put it in the canister, will clog it up quickly as it dies off from lack of lighting, that and worsen water quality something fierce.
Don't put it in the display unless you don't mind a loose floating piece of algae floating around and snagging on stuff. And don't throw it out please, find a fellow local reefer who could benefit. So many people are constantly asking "anyone have some cheato"

all you gotta do to ship it is put it in a ziplock bag with a small amount of water... I think you can even wrap it in damp paper towels and just put enough water in the bag to soak it when the bag is compressed.
Don't pitch... someone will need it.

I had asump but the gurgling noise is too much Ihave tried all I can to silence it I amtrying one more thing and if that don't work

I'd say just put the chaeto in the display tank. If you tuck it behind a rock to keep it from moving, but where it still gets light, you'll do fine I have two balls of chaeto in my 65 and they don't float around at all. When they grow I take them out and remove the excess growth and put the rest back.
