It's a plastic tube with magnets taped to it.

They also claim that it adds energy to the water, yet the device consumes none. Remember high school physics? Do your own math.

I was gonna get one but decided I'd rather invest in a copper bracelet to improve my golf game

I super glued a rabbits foot to skimmer and my corals have never been better. If that didn't work the ecoaqualizer was my next step.

Dont let the naysayers tell you these dont work. They have never even tried them. How dare they give advice against a product that they have never used themselves. Some people on this board have a lot of nerve using common sense, alot of nerve indeed !!!

They are awesome. best thing ever for a reef tank. It replaces my UV sertilizer, my chiller, my skimmer and even allowed me to be able to replace my halides with 20 watt spiral compact flourescents. My Corals grow atleast 5X faster since using it.
Keeps my water at a constant 78 degrees, my PH never shifts from 8.3, my calcium stays at 440, my mag at 1370 and my alk. is in perfect balance. My fish and tank never needs to be fed because the fish and corals use the energy that is given to the water by uptaking it osmotically. It's a miracle device. It has made my 90 gallon system as stable as if it were 1,000,000,000 gallons. I dont even have to do water changes any more nor add supplements or GFO or anything else to keep my parameters in check and my tank as clean and pristine as the cleanest portion of any of the worlds oceans. They could charge thousands and thousands for this device and it would be money well spent. How they can charge so little for such an amazing device just boggles my mind.

Walk, no run and get your credit card and buy one for each of your tanks before the secret gets out and they are all sold out or the EPA pulls them off the shelf in an effort to try and steal the design and patent and make huge profits off of it by selling it for some unsavory military purpose, or to the oil industry, or underhandedly to terrorist evil do-ers.
This device is awesomness personified. The lifeblood of any successful reef !!!

All sarcasm aside (very funny stuff btw ). The thing has been taken apart and shown to only be some magnets taped to a pipe that the water flows through. As far as I know none of their claims have ever been validated. IMO steer clear and save your money.

Dont be a poor sport. It's my time to waste and I have plenty of it. Keeps the fingers limber too.

Besides, I was serious. Get one, get two, buy stock in the company. Do it quickly !!!

lvdp - Thanks for the intelligent response. As far as validation, what about making top-of-the-list 2003 Product of the Year at Aquarium Central?

http://www.aquarium-central.com/Showcase.html

I guess the answer is still NO.

BTW. I'm not trying to be a PITA. Just looking for info on personal experience on the product.

The science (chemistry) behind it does make sense.

The product comes with a 100% 180 day money-back guarantee including shipping and NO ONE here has any first-hand experience with this product?

I find that hard to believe.

ROFL - The "science behind it" is physically impossible.

Why is it that whenever some one asks about this product, they always have less than 5 posts and include link to the website.
