Ok i mean i think the Sailfin is fine it has not shown any sign of ich in almost 2 months since this whole thing. But the foxface has. I will be taking everything out of the 37 except for the foxface and actually making a real qt for them.

that's a 9 inch fish--that will leave you 3 inches on either side of it in your 37 gal tank

I also just thought i would post a FTS for you. You can see the algae that iam talking about.

At only 5" and by looking at the pics, this isn't an adult Chocolate Tang. Not yet anyways, give him time! I too have one and will go try to snap his mugshot! Here is a link (still not sure how to attach pics lol) to an adultish Acanthurus Pyroferus...and HE might not even be fully grown...

My Naso Tang

This is my first time posting pictures so hopefully it works. Here's my Naso Tang that came with the tank I purchased. He's about 8.5" and eats like a pig. He has a ton of personality and a all around awsome fish. I think he had a small case of HLLE, but the guy said it was from an aggresive cowfish. He has a scar above his eye, looks like an eyebrow cut in, but it hasnt gotten any worse.

He's getting his daily cleaning. Cleaner wrasse also eats algae and Frozen MarinePlankton. Hopefully he's a long term resident!

Here's my naso in his cleaning cave. He doesnt let the shrimp or the wrasse clean any other fish. He just butts in line.

Here's a closeup of him.

He always steals the algae clip when he's done eating. He carries it around the tank like a dog with his frisbee.
