definetly--I would never think of not profitting from all the guys expert advice on here
Days of doing it on your own are long gone as are making a serious mistake because you didn't ask someone on here first

Basic question:
How does one accurately measure a tang. I not making a joke here
They just don't slow down long enough
I suppose you could magic marker your tank in inch markings and wait till it swimms by too.
I am an angler--I am use to taking the fish out of water and putting it on a marker board--but I doubt if I could even catch my blue never mind taking it out and measuring it

I think angling is the only time you can measure fish. and even with that I never catch a fish worth measuring.

Beautiful Tangs Goodwin!

Try using a ruler on the side of your tank. Most fish will swim up to it to check it out.

I think my fish are attracted to the yellow color, but then again, I have never tried it with different color ruler?????

At first, mine do too, but give it a little time and you should see them checking it out.

Goodwin, I tried looking at your reef cams but it says that Axis cannot be registered with my computer. Do I need Mac or something?

Tried all of them, I remember I could acces them a couple of months ago but I've rebooted my computer since, I installed the Axis media. My PC which has XP on it needs new hard drive so I can't try it with that.

Try this link to my old test page. Use the Java Viewer located on the right side of the page to view the cams. Work with either XP or Vista and doesn't require Axis media to be installed.

Goodwin, I just looked at your tank. I believe it 4-5am for you, that yellow tang just doesn't sleep! He's darting around the tank right now.

Hey Kar we need to stir up some pics of tangs for this thread--not that the information isn't great but the pictures gave this thread impact.
I'll start leaving little messages in my posts where appropriate

I think people are just too scared of getting flamed. Luckily, none of that goes on here. I'll try and get some more people posting.

I am thinking the opposite--rather when reefers see the species of tangs and the tanks sizes they are in --it is a good learning situation rather then someone having to flame them--to get real

(I gotta stop watching DR.Phil )
