Since they eat zoas and lay their eggs in zoas, that is where I would expect them to be. |

Good news all around today
![]() - My Tangs look great - The brain coral is back large and in charge, and looking healthy as ever - All the Zoas are beginning to open up again now that they are in QT. Here's a crappy pic I tried to snap while the brain was eating last night: ![]()

Just a few...
![]() It was a roller coaster in the beginning and I think he ended up spending 6 weeks in QT before he was added to the display. Black ich was the main thing he went through... I had to FW dip him a few times to get rid of it. Then he had a small outbreak of regular ich in the display tank after the temp rose a bit. He seems to have kicked that though, and now is doing great, eating, and beginning to plump up nicely. He's an absolutely beautiful fish though, and I am very happy I decided to add him. ![]()

![]() Well with all peacefull in the tank tonight, and after playing in a double header today... I'm trying out some Flying Dog beer, while watching LSU & UNC battle it out in the college baseball world series, and putting the finishing touches on a presentation for work tomorrow. I have to give a 7am presentation tomorrow... that should be fun ![]()

Just spent hours reading your thread over the last 3 days or so. Lots of excellent information on all aspects of reef keeping. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and answering questions. I have had many of the same problems but blindly face them. It is always nice not to reinvent the wheel.

It's about maintenance time in the tank.
I had to tweak my overflow today, which leads me to believe the return pump needs a good cleaning. It was about due for one anyway. Also, I'm going to start pulling out the powerheads one by one to run them in vinegar overnight, becuase they are starting to get covered in coraline. Oh yeah... and YUCK!!! ![]()
