how have you been cleaning your remora pro, swift?
mine has been up and running non-stop for 4 months and i am sure it could use a good cleaning.
there is only one maintenance thing to do on it Kudora--take a small pipe cleaner brush to the air venturi--and that's it.
They are pretty maintance free

Just noticed that little line

I would try angling it upward a little first. It is blowing across less distance than the other 2, so it will strike the glass front with more force, which is probably what is disturbing the bed. Angling it upwards a little should solve or at least help the problem.

Friendly local reefers are a great asset... I am not part of the local reef club yet, but was fortunate enough to have a member extend his offer my way.

A special thanks is in order for C-Sea and RC Member MJAnderson for lending me the unit

I would use a bottle brush every few weeks and scrub it out. Also I would open the pump up and clean out the impeller.

I sold my 55g setup, and currently don't have it running on my 30g... hmmm... which reminds me... maybe I should hook it up

Yeah glad you got the meaning

Ill try and fix it in the morning.

I guess you can sum up with,

"My PBT got black ich. Then after he was cured went to DT. AC gave out and water temp went high, fish got ich. Sold my 55g, got a 30g for free. Can't wait to get my anemone."

Something like that.

or... "Go read the thread" (if you want to be a bit bold)

haha... theres another reefer who works down the road from me, and whenever we place orders we usually let the other guy know so we can split shipping... it is soooooooooooooo the way to do it. 2 hours in gas would probably eat that savings though

What kind of nem do you have... are you worried about her taking out some corals on her search for a new spot or not?

A BTA, she attached herself to a LR that hasa few polyps on it, and WILL NOT let go. I just hope the lighting is OK. She is deflated right now....she does this every evening.

From what I have seen and read on threads, they will attatch themselves where they are happy, and move if they aren't.

I'm hoping the nem and I will be on the same page when I decide to add one, and it won't go shifting around on me.

tagging along Tswifty8, I have a 90 as well that I'm working on... but it's my first ever and obviously pales in comparison to most of RC's reefs...

I hear ya babe, when I bought mine, I took 3 days off of work to watch her! I was afraid it would head straight to the power heads and that would be it. I would just feel better if she moved up the tank.
