We can all joke because we know better, but the sad thing is that this $hit happens all the time in this hobby. Unscrupulous "inventors" make tons of money off of unsuspecting hobbyists by selling complete junk. Becuase Eco5000 isn't robbing widows and orphans or charging 37 percent interest, however, the will likely continue to sell useless crap without any consequences. They do sell a rotating fish tank, however.

Hey guys,
Buy my crap for $20 a pound. It purifies the magnetic shield of the spectrum where it ionizes my testicular functionality. Great for fresh and Saltwater. This dong is the best in town... I promise.......

They don't work for aquariums but if you put them against your temples they'll get rid of the migraine you developed from getting ripped off.

What about trace elements? No water changes, no replenishing trace elements without dosings?

I acquired one of these off of a 150 gallon setup that was given to me by a guy who did not realize how much work a saltwater setup is. You know the type, A guy with lots of $$$ and thinks salt is cool so he will go and buy a bunch of fish like a big volitans some clowns an anemone a big eel and a grouper and throw them in a tank after a week of cycling. Then wonders why his clowns have all disappeared the anemone is dead, the grouper is swimming on it's side, the eel was found on the floor looking like jerky and somehow the volitans is still kicking.

Anywhoo he bought one of the ecolizer things It apparently did not do what it was supposed to since there was algae everywhere

if you want to see how gullible people can be when things are advertized by scare tactics - google water purification magnetic.
... its scary....i worked in the industry (water purification) and saw some of these sales tactics used.
there is no controlled study that has been done that magnets do anything to water quality - unless you drop a bucketfull of lead shavings into it!

Honestly, I know several people that keep LPS and softie reef tanks and rarely do water changes. I have seen the tanks with my own eyes. One of them is the sickest seahorse and pipefish display I've ever seen. Complete with crazy aussie acans. the reef keeper prefers the nutrient rich environment and there is little issue with running lower Ca and Mag.

The other guy has a really nice in-wall 65 G. He used to test all the time and do waterchanges religiously and just kinda slacked off. He actually made it a year without a waterchange. He just let the corals kinda do their own natural selection. He has some HUGE beautiful orange yummas, beautiful euphillia species, and various other corals (it's been about 6 months since I've seen it).

Anyway, my point is, that thing may do nothing and the tank could pull thru. Can't help you with any actual product review, but IMO you might have just as good luck by rubbing peanut butter on the side panes of the tank's glass than you would using that thing.

I don't do water changes religiously in my 180 and I can guarantee you without a doubt that my nitrates are 0, my ammonia is 0 etc. If I used one of these PVC pipes with magnets electrical taped to it I can guarantee you my params would be the same.

69 dollars for a a few inches of pvc...its easyer for you to make your own and youll prolly end up paying 5$

its the same thing made by the same kinds of people who make those scam better gas mileage gadgets.

im going in the medical field and i must tell you even there there are a few who will sell you a wrist bracelet with a magnet on it and tell you it will cure almost any problem you have

on cars they say it realignes the metals in gas to make the gas burn cleaner and better and give you better gas mileage.

its a scam...and its got alot of misused chemestry and physics terms thrown around to impress you. they arent even used corectly.

also water does not stay in a cylinder the way they show it...its more of a net with layers than anyting

"Reactivity is the molecular interactions between water molecules." LOL i thought molecular interactions between water molecules was physics and chemistry. They say "This not only neutralizes impurities but triggers the Reactivity of water." It triggers physics and chemistry in the water. You should feel more jipped that your water comes out of your pipes lacking the laws of physics!
